Historical Santon House

A most impressive and substantial detached House surely one of the finest properties in this quiet, western side of the Lake District National Park. Architect designed in 1936 by Medcalf and Medcalf of Liverpool, and completed in 1938 incorporating the very best of materials and craftmanship.

The main gardens are beautifully landscaped having many mature trees and rhododendrons with large areas of shrubs, conifers and colourful plants.

Large tennis court lawn to the front. Interesting quiet corners of the garden add to the pleasure that the grounds offer. There is a large kitchen garden with greenhouse, a good productive orchard with many apple and plum trees.
